Booth 96 Before & After

"BEFORE"

Here's a photo of my booth from back in April ((BOOTH 96)) over at the Brass Armadillo Antique Mall in Phoenix. It had these cute little shelves already built right into it...just waiting for all sorts of merchandise. It was already painted shabby pastel blue...perfect!

This is what a carload full of stuff looks like...didn't make much of a dent.

"AFTER"

Here is BOOTH 96 today (well, 2-days ago)...and many, many trips later. Now this little booth is full of all sorts of Scrapbook, Paper Arts, Vintage Ephemera, and other little goodies.

I wanted to paint this brown little vintage dresser white or some sort of shabby blue, but it looks pretty good just being brown. It's a great place to display more merchandise in the meantime.

If you are ever in the Phoenix area and are in search of some Vintage and unique Scrapbook & Paper Arts stuff, then stop by BOOTH 96 at the Brass Armadillo in Phoenix...located just NW of I-17 & Cactus. It's a little Scrapbook Store inside a BIG Antique Mall. More merchandise gets added every few days...great prices too!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Merci Stampin D Amour....

Posting and Creation by Angelica Turner

I had lots of fun designing with their beautiful images and got to design alongside the wonderful and talented Jen and Pamela, thank you ladies. My card features two of my favorite images from the "French Vintage" clear stamp set, I stamped the images with baroque burgandy ink from Stampin' Up on white cardstock. The layout of the card is based on sketch #199 from Mojo Monday, I also followed this week's challenge #70 over at The Shabby Tea Room.
Used several flowers, the large flower I misted with vanilla Smooch Spritz and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, I got this technique from my very best friend Velma. Also added a combination of punched leaves in different cardstock colors.

Thank you so much for stopping by, until next time and have a great day.

Supplies:

Size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Stamps: Stampin' D'Amour (French Vintage)

SDA Happy Birthday Card

POSTING & CREATION by Angelica Turner

Today I have a fun birthday card full of bright happy colors, I used the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the "Fabulous Birthday" clear stamp set from Stampin' D'Amour. The layout of the card is based on the sketch from VLV, July week 1, great sketch and lots of fun to work with. The paper is from an old collection by Making Memories called "Emery", I paired it with red cardstock. Used some white seam binding for the bow, the scalloped edge on the circle I created with a Martha Stewart border punch.
The little doily looking flowers I made with a border punch from EK Success called "Abstract Flower Chain", I adhered with a pop dot and added a button for the center. I also added some Stickles to the edges of all the patterned paper layers for a touch of sparkle.
Thank you so much for stoping by and hope you have a wonderful day.

Supplies:
Size: 6" x 6"
Stamps: Stampin' D'Amour (Fabulous Birthday)
Inks: Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black)
Paper: Bazzill cardstock, white cardstock, Making Memories (Emery)
Other: Stickles (Diamond), Martha Stewart border punch (Vintage Floral), EK Success border punch (Abstract Flower Chain), buttons, white seam binding, pop dots

FAB Birthday Card

Posting & Creation by Angelica Turner

It's time for a project featuring Stampin' D'Amour. This card features an image from the "Fabulous Birthday" clear stamp set. Start by cutting the card base and the patterned paper with the Cricut, I used an image from the "Sentiments" cartridge and sized the image on Design Studio. The patterned paper is from "Que Sera, Sera" by K & Co., I really like the colors and patterns on this paper collection.
I stamped the image on white cardstock, then stamped the cupcake 3 times, one on the yellowish patterned paper, one on the brown paper, and one on yellow cardstock, cut out all the pieces and paper pieced together, shaded the cupcake top and candle with spiced marmalade distress ink.
As a final touch I added some ribbon, a few flowers from Prima, some punched leaves, and adhesive rhinestones, and don't forget a touch of Stickles on the flowers for an extra touch of sparkle.
Here is my inspiration for the layout, another great sketch from Mojo Monday. Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.
Supplies:
Size: 5" x 5"
Stamps: Stampin' D'Amour (Fabulous Birthday)
Inks: Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black), Distress Ink (spiced marmalade)
