SWIM PARTY...

(Adorable card & posting by Jennifer Cuthbertson - BLOG)

I made this card for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger using a stamp from the new Fabulous Birthday set from Stampin' D'Amour and my new Salt Air collection from Cosmo Cricket! I can't believe how much fabulousness is in this card!

I was inspired by this photograph both in use of the color palette (though mine is a muted version) and the way this photo makes me think of summer!

One of the best summers I can remember was the summer of my 12th birthday and we had a big swimming party at a really popular swimming hole on the river. My mom hand drew all of the invitations which is why I'm probably such a fan of this handmade invitation! Thanks for such a fun trip down memory lane, Cath! :)

Fabulous Birthday!

{Fabulous creation & posting by Angelica Turner - BLOG}

I have been playing with some of the new stamps from Stampin' D'Amour, this set is called "Fabulous Birthday", I have used the cake image and "Happy Birthday" from this set for my card along with color challenge #20 from CR84FN and sketch #107 from Card Patterns. The papers are pretty old, I found them in my stash and I really liked the design on them, the lace I made with a Spellbinders die from the Parisian Accents set. I stamped the cake twice on Canson paper, colored with chalks and markers, after it was all colored and cut out I added some detail with a Stardust Sakura pen, I also added some mini pearls from Want2Scrap to the center of the flowers.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' D'Amour (Fabulous Birthday)
Inks: Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black), Distress Ink (dusty concord)
Paper: White Canson Fanboy paper, Bazzill Cardstock, EK Success (Laura Ashley)

Celebrete card...

{Adorable creation & posting by Jennifer Cuthbertson - BLOG }

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing a card I made with the new Fabulous Birthday set from Stampin' D'Amour! I love that the banner image in this set spells "celebrate" as many banners are blank and a lot of alphabet stamps don't fit.

I used some replica vintage catalog paper along with some fun patterned papers to make this birthday card. I stamped the banner image on patterned paper and cut each pennant out and glued them to a length of baker's twine. The "Happy Birthday!" sentiment and the banner image are from the birthday set and the "Oh, goody gum-drops!" sentiment is a separate stamp from SDA.

Supplies: Stamps - Fabulous Birthday, sentiment (SDA), DP - Fly a Kite (October Afternoon), Ephemera (SDA), Card Stock/Ink - Night of Navy (SU!), Twine (Country Clean)

Have a FABULOUS Birthday...card

{Exquisite creation & posting by Angelica Turner - BLOG}

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Good Morning, today I have a very fun and colorful card I made with an image from the new clear stamp set from Stampin' D'Amour, this set is called "Fabulous Birthday", perfect for all your birthday cards, especially if you are a fan of vintage inspired images, you will love this set!!

For the layout of my card I used sketch #106 from Card Patterns, I stamped the image 3 times on white Wausau paper and colored with pearlescent watercolor paints, cut out 2 cupcakes and layered with pop dots. The rosette, I made with a strip of patterned paper about 1 1/2" wide, cut the edge with deco scissors and scored with my MS scoring board, added some flowers, some buttons, and cut some leafs from red felt.

As a final touch I added some stickles to the edge of the patterned paper, the rosette, and the scalloped edge of the stamped image. Thank you for stopping by!

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' D'Amour (Fabulous Birthday)
Inks: Ranger Archival Ink (Jet Black)
Paper: White Wausau paper, Making Memories (Emery)
Other: Stickles (Crystal), Prima flowers, Provo Craft paper shapers, felt, Pearlescent watercolor paint, Cuttlebug Machine, buttons, pop dots, Martha Stewart scoring board

Birthday Wishes...

Adorable creation & posting by Jennifer Cuthbertson - BLOG

Today I'm thrilled to show you a card using a brand new set of clear stamps from Stampin' D'Amour -
Fabulous Birthday and the fun Nerdy Bird paper kit from Sassafras. I think the vintage feel of SDA stamps is the perfect compliment to the vintage feel of these papers! The colors in this card and the rainbow remind me of what was popular when I was a kid in the 70s!

Supplies: Stamps - Fabulous Birthday (SDA), DP - Nerdy Bird Collection (Sassafras), Ink - Basic Black (SU!)

Elegant Vintage Lady Card...

{Beautiful creation & posting by Angelica Turner - BLOG}

I created this little card with this very elegant lady image from the "French Vintage" clear stamp set. Ok, I have to admit sometimes I go a bit overboard, I stamped the image twice on white Canson paper, colored it with Marvy markers and cut out with scissors, for the second image I only cut out each ruffle of her dress and adhered it to the first image, the photo doesn't show the dimension very well, but it looks very pretty in person. The blue flower I made with an EK Success punch and vellum paper, I shaped each petal with an embossing tool and added stickles to the edges.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' D'Amour (French Vintage)
Inks: StazOn (Jet Black)
Image Colored with: Marvy LePlume II (0 Blender pen, 68 daffodil yellow, 13 ochre, 47 pale pink, 30 rosewood.
Paper: DCWV Glitter paper, DCWV Mariposa matstack, vellum, Canson "Fanboy" white paper,
Other: K & Co Die-Cut Cardstock, EK Success flower punch, Martha Stewart rose leaf punch, Martha Stewart border punch (Daisy), Stickles (Baby Blue, Crystal), Sakura Gelly Roll (Clear Star), vintage butterfly images.

{MaHaLo...tag card}

{lovely creation & posting by Jennifer Cuthbertson - BLOG}

I stamped the tag with images from the Vintage Hawaiian clear stamp set, using coral for the hibiscus to give it a pop of color. I distressed the tag with dye ink and used foam squares to pop the tag up a bit. I finished the card with some pretty ribbon that I recently rediscovered in my stash.

I hope you've been as inspired by Stampin' d'Amour as I have and that you will have a chance to ink up some lovely stamps very soon! Also, look for my card published in this summer's Paper Crafts Go-To Sketches for Cardmakers where I've used the SDA Circus Ticket stamp! Fun!

Supplies: Stamps - Vintage Hawaiian (SDA), Tag (Uline), DP - South Seas Collection (Creative Imagination), Card/Envelope (Hero Arts), Ribbons (my stash), Ink - Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip (SU!), Tea Dye Duo (PTI), Baker's Twine (Country Clean), Foam Squares

{the BiG ToP CiRCuS...}

{FAB Creation & posting by Jennifer Cuthbertson - BLOG}

I'm happy to share a card with you that I made with a great circus ticket stamp from Stampin' d'Amour! SDA has so many great vintage image stamps that are all the rage right now and this is no exception!

I start by pulling out papers and extras that I'm considering for the card and keep them on my desk as I piece the card together.
I stamp the ticket images on white card stock using a piece of foam underneath to get a crisp image.
I cut out the tickets and distressed them both by crunching them up with my hands and inking them up with dye inks.
I finished the card using a coordinating poster image from the same paper pad, some shabby ribbon and a glittery star.

Supplies: Stamps - Circus Ticket (SDA), DP - LeCirque (Graphic 45), Ribbon/Glitter Star - MemrieMare (Etsy)
